Update and Activities!

Just a reminder that there are NO Classes on Sunday, January 16th and the Confirmation Retreat has been rescheduled to February 13th. I hope you are able to stay warm and relax a little bit. Below please find some activities to make up for our time missed this month! Since it is a three day weekend and the weather seems to be unpleasant, now might be a nice time to sit together and do a little soul nourishment!

As in the past I am sharing BuildingFaith@Home which comes out of the Office of Catechesis in Syracuse. It is a wonderful resource to use as a family!

Monday we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! It is a great opportunity to have some important discussions about the equality of all of God's children. Below is a  read aloud story to help initiate those discussions through a Catholic Christian context.

January 19th we celebrate our hometown saint, St. Marianne Cope
St. Marianne attended St. Joseph/St. Patrick's Church but received her Sacraments at St. John's, which just goes to show you that God can call any one of us at any time to live the life of a saint!

Just a reminder that classes resume
Sunday, January 23rd for Grades 1-10.

First Reconciliation is
Saturday, January 22nd at 10am in the church.

See you then!
