Lent Begins!

Hard to believe that it is the end of February and that Lent is here in full swing! We hope this season allows you some time to ponder your relationship with God and with God's people. It is such a beautiful season of both repentance and of grace. How wonderful that we have a God who longs to be closer to us. Let's give ourselves the opportunity to grow in God's love.

Ways to take time with God this Lenten season:

There are some wonderful resources online for daily prayer and reflection. In the church we still have the Little Black Books and The Word Among us is available. Kids will be sent home with their Rice Bowls and that is wonderful activity to do as a family.

This is also a reminder that Grades 1-6 have classes this Sunday at their regular time while grades 7-10 have their first Living Stations of the Cross. Please also make every effort to have your teens attend each practice. As always, we welcome all the older students back as well.

This year there is an even greater need as our program is considerably smaller so please consider asking your older kids if they would do this as a Lenten activity.

Living Stations is on Friday, March 24th. Thank you so much for your help with this!

If you have any questions, please contact us at the rectory, 315-724-6159.
