Our Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Rejoice Weekend!

Hello on this Feast of  Our Lady of Guadalupe! Blessings on this Rejoice (Gaudete) Sunday, 3rd Sunday of Advent!

It is a big week about Mary! First The Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday and today the Feast of our Lady of Guadelupe! Below are a couple of video's about what both of those Feast Days mean.

Such a wonderful way to spend 8 minutes!

The meaning of the Immaculate Conception
a two minute lesson!

What a gift, that during this week when we hear that the vaccine has begun being distributed in England and because of FDA approval will begin here too at some point soon. The pandemic will not be over, we are not even close to being out of the woods, but we can share in Mary's trust that God is ahead of all of our worries and concerns. It isn't always easy to trust, but Mary's example illustrates for us how she fully entrusted herself to God and her trust helped bring about the salvation of the world. We can always turn to her to help draw us ever closer to her Son.

So as we move through this uncertain time, as we celebrate Gaudete Sunday, let us take a moment to experience the joy of our faith. Remembering that though things may shift around us, our foundation is strong,  because like Mary,  we are beloved children of God.

Program notes:

Classes will remain remote through the end of February, when we will again review the situation.

Packets received recently will be used through the 2nd Sunday of January.

Please send all cards/letters in for the Advent Project. If you haven't yet, it's not too late!

I will be having office hours tomorrow until  via Zoom for anyone who wants to check in, ask questions or just say hi! Please email me and I will send you a link and a time!
